DC Power Supplies

Iota’s DLS charger/power supplies are uniquely versatile, in that they function with or without a battery in your DC power system. Most DC power supplies cannot operate upstream from a power storage battery, and can only be used to actually power DC appliances. DLS charger/power supplies can both provide stable DC power to an electrical load (with or without a battery in the system), and charge a battery or battery bank. If you’re using an off-grid, generator-powered system, the stand-alone DLS charger/power supplies are perfect for your needs. They will quickly charge your batteries up to ~90% charge (the fastest portion of battery charging), and minimize your generator run time. If you’re installing your DLS into a boat or motor home, where you’ll spend a lot of time plugged in to shore power (and/or keeping the vehicle in storage), getting a DLS with an IQ4 charging controller will help optimize long term battery charging to keep your battery bank fully charged, and in great condition!
