In a weekend or vacation cabin, the Spacesaver can be used by 3 adults or a family of 4. For regular full-time use, SunMar recommends a limit of 1 adults or a family of 2. From the manufacturer:
The SPACESAVER is a standard three chamber unit designed specifically for situations where space is extremely limited. The SPACESAVER is fitted with the same kind of high quality turbo-fan as other electric units have. The SPACESAVER has almost the same size Bio-drum as the COMPACT, so composting capacity is similar to that of the Compact. On the other hand, evaporation is limited by the smaller heater and evaporating surface, so the safety drains should be connected.
